SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State men's basketball head coach Terrence Johnson has signed a contract extension through the 2026-27 season, Director of Athletics Don Coryell announced on Friday. Johnson has led the Bobcats to back-to-back Sun Belt Conference regular season championships in his two years leading the program.
"Coach Johnson is not only a great basketball coach but a tremendous leader of young men, and we are appreciative of his leadership as well as his commitment to and passion for Texas State," said Coryell. "Over the past two years, Coach Johnson has guided our teams to historic seasons.
