SAN MARCOS – The Texas State softball team (27-21, 15-8 Sun Belt) took the rubber match by a score of 2-0 against the Troy Trojans (35-18, 17-8 Sun Belt) on Sunday afternoon at Bobcat Softball Stadium. The program honored three seniors in the postgame Senior Day festivities: outfielder Mari Cranek, outfielder Kennedy Cline, and pitcher Krista Jacobs.

- Junior catcher Haleigh Davis broke the lid on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fifth inning when she launched a solo home run over the left field wall.
