SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Athletics received a substantial gift from Benny and Michele Boyd to help with the Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Complex renovation and addition. In recognition of one of the largest gifts to the project, Texas State will name the Legacy Suites level at Bobcat Stadium after the Boyd family.
The gift is part of a planned $37 million, privately-funded renovation project to the complex, which will include a new 8,000 square foot weight room, a new players lounge, new training room with hydrotherapy, individual position meeting rooms, upgraded conference rooms with additional offices, a recruiting room, and additional premium hospitality spaces for fans to enhance the gameday experience.
