SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State Athletics received a $4 million gift – one of the largest ever made to the athletic department – to help with the $37 million football complex renovation and addition at Bobcat Stadium. The donor has requested to remain anonymous.
The gift is part of a planned $37 million, privately funded renovation project to the complex, which includes a new 8,000 square foot weight room, a new players lounge, new training room with hydrotherapy, individual position meeting rooms, upgraded conference rooms with additional offices, recruiting room and additional premium hospitality spaces for fans to enhance the gameday experience.
