SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State plays its 2021 Football Spring Game presented by Brown Distributing beginning at 11 a.m. on April 24 at Bobcat Stadium. Admission to the Spring Game is free with a 35 percent seating capacity.
The Spring Game features the offense playing against the defense in a scripted scrimmage with regular game rules and penalties being enforced. The game begins with two kickoffs followed by four different segments, with the offense beginning possessions at the offensive 25, offensive 40, and defensive 40-yard lines.
The offense scores seven points for any touchdown on a drive, three points for reaching the red zone, and one point for any first down.
