LAKE CHARLES, Texas – Dalton Hankamer shot a 5-under-par 67 and the Texas State men's golf team posted a 4-under-par 284 in the closing round to finish in a sixth-place tie at the at the Lake Charles Toyota Invitational on Tuesday at The Country Club at the Golden Nugget.
Hankamer had seven birdies and two bogies in the final 18 holes to finish the tournament in a tie for eighth place in the individual standings at 9-under-par (71-69-67-207) through 54 holes. It is his second straight top-10 finish.
Calvin Ross was the only other Bobcat to shoot under par in the final round as he ended the tournament shooting 1-under-par during each of the final two rounds.
