NEW ORLEANS — The Sun Belt Conference, conjunction with ESPN, announced Wednesday afternoon that Texas State men's basketball's scheduled game at Troy on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN2. By virtue of being picked up by ESPN, the game's tip time has shifted and will now begin at 8 p.m. CT.
Texas State's regular-season finale against the Trojans will mark the first Bobcat men's basketball game to air on either ESPN or ESPN2 since its thrilling three-overtime victory at UTA on Feb. 28, 2020.
The game was picked up for national television as part of a two-game 'Wild Card' package between the Sun Belt and its television partner, ESPN.
