HOUSTON, Texas – and combined for 44 points to lead the Texas State men's basketball team to its fourth straight victory with an 80-69 win at Rice on Tuesday night in Tudor Fieldhouse.
Harrell led the Bobcats with a season-high 24 points, and Asberry netted 20 for the Bobcats, who outscored Owls 54-31 in the second half to improve their record to 5-2 this season. Rice fell to 4-4.
The Bobcats trailed 38-26 at halftime but opened the second half with a 12-0 run. That tied the score at 38-38, and the Bobcats outscored the Owls 42-21 the rest of the way.
