NEW ORLEANS — The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Thursday that the Texas State University Men's and Women's Cross Country programs were selected as All-Academic Teams for the 2021 NCAA Division I Cross Country season.
"On the field performance is very important but excelling academically is the key to a student-athletes' overall success," said John Frazier, Texas State Director of Track and Field / Cross Country. "I am proud of our men's and women's cross country teams for their academic excellence."
The Bobcats were one of six men's cross country programs (App State, Arkansas State, South Alabama, Troy, Texas State, ULM) to earn the honor.
