Texas State Falls 30-20 at South Alabama

Mobile, Ala. — Despite a career-best performance from quarterback Brady McBride, South Alabama (2-2, 1-0 in Sun Belt) scored the final 10 points in the game as Texas State suffered a 30-20 loss Saturday afternoon in Hancock Whitney Stadium.

Texas State had tied the score at 20-20 with 10:30 left to play when Seth Keller kicked a 41-yard field goal.

But the Jaguars scored the final 10 points in the game when Desmond Trotter hit Kawaan Baker for an eight-yard touchdown pass and Diego Guajardo kicked the extra point to give the Jaguars a 27-20 advantage with 7:10 left to play.
