SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State tennis program was named a 2023 Division I Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team and seven Bobcats were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, the organization announced on Monday.
The ITA's release of academic awards included 1,513 Division I Women's student-athletes named ITA scholar-athletes and 234 women's tennis programs awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
Texas State was named an ITA All-Academic team for the eighth season in a row. This is the fifth ITA All-Academic team honor for tennis Head Coach Kendall Brooks.
Tennis earned a 3.
