SAN MARCOS, TX — In 2022, there isn't much the Texas State volleyball program hasn't accomplished on the court.
But Tuesday morning, as announced by the league, the Bobcats accomplished a feat for the first time: sweep the Sun Belt Conference's weekly volleyball awards as Emily DeWalt (Setter), Jacqueline Lee (Defensive) and Janell Fitzgerald (Offensive) were honored for their performances over the weekend.
With the trio of recognitions, Texas State becomes the first Sun Belt volleyball program in league history to win all three of the Sun Belt's weekly volleyball awards in the same week.
