NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference recognized Texas State Track and Field on Wednesday with Jody Stewart, Director of Track and Field/Cross Country, and redshirt freshman Tramesha Hardy being named the Men's Indoor Head Coach of the Year and the Most Outstanding Women's Freshman respectively.
In his first season, Stewart led the men's team to its first conference indoor championship since 2004. The Bobcat men put on a dominating performance in Birmingham, Ala., to win the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship. Texas State won with 127.
