SAN MARCOS, Texas – In the newest States Up podcast, Texas State great Jeff Foster joins to talk about this weekend's court dedication in his name as well as the reunion of the 1997 Southland Conference championship team. He also looks back at his journey from unknown recruit to 13-year NBA career.
Foster was a part of two Southland Conference championship teams at Texas State (then known as Southwest Texas State). But in his early days as a Bobcat, he and the 1997 team won the regular season and tournament championships, lifting them to the NCAA Tournament.
