SAN MARCOS, Texas – hit a three-run homer, and pitched a complete game to lead the Texas State softball team to a 4-1 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday night at the Bobcat Softball Stadium.
The Bobcats jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, when and reached on a pair of walks, and Bell it a 3-2 pitch from Jenika Lombrana over the left-centerfield fence.
The Islanders scored their lone run in the top of the third inning when Tiler Noyola reached on a fielder's choice, stole second, and scored on Sydney Hoyt's double to right-center.
