SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State softball team will begin its five game road trip Thursday afternoon with a 3 p.m. single game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Bobcats and the Islanders will play in two single games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Texas State is coming off of its first conference series of the year where the Bobcats went 1-2 against Georgia Southern. In the victory, Randi Rupp threw a complete game shutout for her 12th win of the year. She finished the day with nine strikeouts while not allowing any walks.
