SAN MARCOS, Texas – Head coach Ricci Woodard and the Texas State softball program announces the signing of Kennedy Cline, an outfield transfer from Ole Miss, to the Bobcats starting in the fall of 2016 as a sophomore.
"We are excited to add Kennedy as a transfer," said Woodard. "She is a hard-working student-athlete that wants to compete at a high level."
Cline competed in eight games for the Rebels during her freshman campaign. Against UTSA, Cline helped Ole Miss to a run-rule victory after delivering the two-RBI walk-off single. After her freshman season, Cline was named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
