Softball set to host Georgia State for first time since the 2019 season

SAN MARCOS, TX — A lot has happened in the world since the final weekend of March 2019. Marvel's Avengers saved Earth, again. Elvis Luciano of the Major League Baseball (MLB) team Toronto Blue Jays became the first player born in 2000-or-later to play in an MLB game. And the COVID-19 pandemic began.

March 31, 2019 marked the last time the Georgia State softball program played a Sun Belt Conference game against Texas State at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos. And 1,110 days later, that changes as the Panthers venture back to the Lonestar State for a three-game conference series against the Bobcats this week.
