SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State University softball head coach Ricci Woodard announced Wednesday the addition of right-handed pitcher Krista Jacobs to the team's 2017 roster. Jacobs comes to San Marcos from the University of Mississippi where she pitched in 10 games as a true freshman last season.
"We are excited to add Krista to our roster," said Woodard. "She provides depth in the circle for the next three seasons. She is a hard working competitor with Division I experience, which is tremendous to add to our staff."
Jacobs will join the Bobcats at the start of the spring 2017 semester in January and will be eligible to compete during the 2017 season.
