SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State soccer team dropped its non-conference finale Friday night at Bobcat Soccer Complex to Central Arkansas 2-0.
With the loss, the Bobcats enter Sun Belt Conference play 0-4-1 while the Bears improve to 1-1-1.
Most of the action in the first half was in the midfielder area while UCA entered halftime with an 8-3 edge in shots. The most dangerous opportunity of the period came from the Bears' Emma Hawkins with 95 seconds remaining. Her attempt saw make a diving stop to keep the contest scoreless at halftime.
