SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State soccer team returns to the Bobcat Soccer Complex for two matches this weekend. First up is Little Rock at 7 p.m. on Friday followed by a Sunday afternoon contest against Arkansas State that kicks off at 1 p.m.
Entering the weekend, the Bobcats are 5-5-0 on the season and tied for first in the Sun Belt Conference at 3-0-0. The Trojans come in 6-3-1 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play while the Red Wolves are 5-2-2 on the year and 2-0-0 in the Sun Belt.
Last weekend TXST went on the road and defeated Louisiana 2-1 in double overtime and then downed preseason favorite and five-time defending conference champion South Alabama 1-0.
