Six put pen to paper to join Woodard’s Bobcat program

SAN MARCOS, Texas. Texas State softball head coach Ricci Woodard continued to reap the benefits of a successful softball program as the Bobcats signed six student-athletes to help build for many more future winning seasons.

"This 2021 class is going to be so much fun to watch in their careers," said Woodard. "We feel we have added everything we need to keep competing at a high level: speed, power, pitching, catching and great competitors. We can't wait to put them in Bobcat uniforms!"

This year's softball signing class features three pitchers in Presley Glende, Kaitlyn Dutton and Bailee Welsh, Melissa (Missy) Muras, who can play both the catcher and multiple infield positions, a second catcher in Makayla Hall and rounding out the class is outfielder Ciara Trahan.
