SAN MARCOS, Texas – Highlighted by six programs earning or matching their highest scores, all of Texas State's athletic teams met and exceeded the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate (APR) multi-year standard as the NCAA released its latest Division I APR data from the 2020-21 academic year.
Men's golf, women's golf, soccer and tennis all received perfect multiyear scores. It was the 13th straight year tennis received a perfect score and ninth straight for women's golf. For soccer and men's golf, it was their second straight year.
The six Texas State teams to register their highest APR since the NCAA instituted the metric in 2004-05 were men's basketball, men's cross country, men's golf, women's golf, soccer, and tennis.
