INDIANAPOLIS – Texas State golfer Sakke Siltala has been selected by the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee to compete as an individual at the NCAA Amherst Regional May 12-14 at Poplar Grove Golf Club in Amherst, Virginia.
The All-Sun Belt Conference Second-Team selection gives the Bobcats their first appearance at NCAA Regionals since 2022 when Evan White represented TXST at the NCAA Bryan Regional.
Siltala's Sun Belt nod was the second in as many seasons, having also earned accolades in 2023-24. He led the Bobcats with a 70.87 stroke average across 10 tournaments and finished atop the TXST lineup in seven of 10 events, while collecting three top five finishes, six in the top 10 and seven in the top 25.
