SAN MARCOS, Texas – Sakke Siltala was named All-Sun Belt Second Team while Jack Burke and were both named All-Sun Belt Third Team as the Sun Belt Conference office announced its complete list of 2024 all-conference awards on Monday.
The three All-Sun Belt honorees are the most Texas State has ever had in a season in program history.
Siltala, who is the first Bobcat to earn All-Sun Belt Second Team since Evan White in 2022, led the team in scoring average (71.70) and birdies. The sophomore out of Finland had three top-10 finishes, including two in the top-five, and had a season-best third-place finish at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate in March.
