STATESBORO, GA — The reigning Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week continued to pave the way for Texas State as Jessica Mullins tossed her second consecutive seven-inning complete game shutout against a conference foe Friday night as the Bobcats beat Georgia Southern 2-0.
The win gives Texas State its longest winning streak — seven — of the season.
Since allowing two runs — one earned, one unearned — in the top of the second inning against Georgia State on Wednesday, April 14, Mullins has not allowed a run to score, a span of 23.
