STATESBORO, Ga. – The last of four consecutive road games for the Texas State men's basketball team takes place Saturday at Georgia Southern in the Hanner Fieldhouse with tip scheduled for 6 p.m. CT. It also marks the beginning of the second half of Sun Belt Conference play for the Bobcats.
Entering the game, Texas State is 9-10 overall and 3-7 in conference play while the Eagles are 9-12 on the season and 5-6 in the SBC.
In the first meeting this season in Strahan Coliseum, Ethan Montalvo scored a then season-high 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting with four three-pointers in the 80-66.
