SAN MARCOS, Texas – Senior August Ramirez hit two home runs for the first time in his collegiate career in helping Texas State (21-21) run-rule Incarnate Word (23-16) 10-0 in seven innings Tuesday night at Bobcat Ballpark. The shutout was the first for the Bobcats this season and the first since doing so against ULM on May 20, 2023.
Ramirez drove in five runs as he hit both a two-run and three-run long ball. With his two homers, the Helotes, Texas native became the 21st TXST player to hit 20 or more homers in a Bobcat uniform.
