MOBILE, Ala. – The third round of the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate tournament was canceled due to heavy rain in the area making the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course unplayable Tuesday morning.
As a result the Texas State men's golf team ended the tournament with a fifth-place finish after shooting a three-under-par two-round total of 573 on the Par 72, 7,212-yard course.
The Bobcats finished the tournament seven shots back of the host school, South Alabama. Florida State won the tournament with a team score of 553, while Louisville finished as the runner-up team five shots back.
