SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's golf team will play in the UTRGV Women's Invitational hosted by UTRGV. TXST won this event a season ago by 21 strokes. Play will begin with 36 holes on a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT on March 11. The tournament will conclude with 18 holes on March 12.
"We are looking forward to a new experience," head coach Lisa Strom said. "This will be our first time being the defending champions. We love the golf course, the greens are typically in great shape, and the team is really turning the corner with their ball striking.
