SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's basketball team (14-15, 9-8 Sun Belt) will host in-state rival and conference-leading UT Arlington (22-6, 14-3 Sun Belt) at 2 p.m. on March 9 inside Strahan Arena. The game will represent Senior Day for three Texas State senior student-athletes: guard Toshua Leavitt, guard Dabrasia Baty and forward Zandra Emanuel.
The regular season finale carries huge seeding implications for both teams ahead of the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championship. With a Bobcat victory, TXST would move a step in the right direction in garnering a top-six seed and an automatic bye into the second round in New Orleans.
