SAN MARCOS, Texas – A preview of the goalkeepers on the 2021 Texas State soccer team.
Sophomore Beth Agee is back after a strong first-year campaign between the posts. The Mansfield, Texas native recorded 87 saves, eighth most in the nation, and a save percentage of .750 during the 2020-21 season.
"Beth looks good, strong and fit. She's starting to take more of a leadership role, which is what we need for her to do," said head coach Kat Conner. "She's got to step up and man that 18-yard box and direct and command the backline to make it more predictable for her, so she doesn't have to get as many reactionary saves.
