WACO, Texas – The Texas State volleyball team suffered a 3-1 (25-27, 25-10, 25-13, 25-21) setback to No. 28-ranked Baylor on the first night of the 2017 Jason's Deli Baylor Classic Thursday inside Ferrell Center.
The Bobcats (8-4) took a set off the nationally-ranked foe, but they were inevitably unable to earn their first win over BU (8-3) in Waco since 1990.
Sophomore Megan Porter tallied 10 kills for the maroon and gold, while true freshman added 13 assists, sophomore Amy Pflughaupt posted 14 digs and fellow sophomore Micah Dinwiddie recorded 10 digs.
