NEW ORLEANS – The Texas State women's golf team received more postseason accolades than any Sun Belt Conference school, the leagues announced Thursday.
Texas State, under the guidance of head coach Lisa Strom, claimed the 2019 Sun Belt Player of the Year, one first-team selection, and a pair of second-team honors. The three all-conference selections mark the most since receiving the same number in 2017.
Senior Anne-Charlotte Mora was tabbed player of the year and first team all-league. She became the first Bobcat to earn league player of the year honors since Ashley Kelley was awarded the Southland Conference Co-Player of the Year in 2004.
