Paul Goldschmidt is an all-star.
For the fourth consecutive season, the former Texas State Bobcat and current Arizona Diamondback first baseman was named to the National League side.
Unlike the past two seasons where he was voted in as a starter by the fans, Goldschmidt will come off the bench as a reserve during the All-Star Game on July 12 at PETCO Park in San Diego, California. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on FOX.
“I had fun the last few years, so it’ll be fun to go again,” Goldschmidt told Fox Sports Arizona. “I’m disappointed for a couple of our other guys who aren’t in right now.
