SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's golf teams plays the first of five spring tournaments on Monday and Tuesday when it competes in the Louisiana Classics taking place in Lafayette, Louisiana. The tournament will be contested o the at the Oakbourne Country Club.
Oakbourne CC is a par 72 course that stretches 6,866 yards. The front nine is 3,470 yards long and the back nine covers 3,396 yards.
Along with the Bobcats, 14 other programs will be competing over the next two days. The field features nine teams ranked in the top 100 led by third-ranked Texas A&M and 11-ranked Illinois.
