MONTGOMERY, Texas – The Texas State men's golf team rallied in the final three holes to finish in third place at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational Tuesday at the Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club.
Playing in their 2020-21 final regular-season tournament, the Bobcats made a combined nine birdies in the last three holes and finished the third round, shooting one-under-par 287 as a team. Texas State ended the tournament with a 54-hole team total of 874.
Evan White led the Bobcats' late surge with birdies on each of the final three holes and finished the tournament for 10th place in the individual standings with an even-par 216 total.
