EL DORADO, Ark. – Led by a pair of Top 25 finishes, the Texas State men's golf team is in ninth place after the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship at the Mystic Creek Golf Club.
Dalton Hankamer and Fabian Sunden are tied with five other players for 25th place in the individual standings to lead the Bobcats after shooting a five-over-par 77. Sunden ended the first round with a pair of birdies on the back nine, while Hankamer recorded one birdie on the front nine before finishing his round with a couple of pars.
