FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – It was a historic day at the NCAA South Central Regional for the Texas State men's cross country team. The Bobcats finished eighth to match the program's best finish at the meet since 2005.
"Our goal was to have a top 10 team finish and we did that," said Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Jody Stewart. "We are extremely proud of our guys and their continued progress throughout this season."
Pacing the Bobcats on the 10K course was senior Joseph Pena. He crossed the finish line in 31:23.
