Texas State has never beaten Louisiana-Lafayette in men's basketball.
The Bobcats carry an 0-6 record into today's 4:30 p.m. clash with the Ragin' Cajuns inside Strahan Coliseum. Considering where Texas State (10-13, 4-10 Sun Belt) stands right now, it would sure be the perfect time to break that 0-fer against UL Lafayette (14-10, 10-5 SBC).
There have been a few close calls: The Bobcats suffered a 67-66 loss to the Elfrid Payton-led Cajuns back in 2014 in San Marcos and despite what the final score showed Danny Kaspar's team felt like it let a win slip through its fingers during last year's Sun Belt tournament (a 53-43 loss).
