Whatever the Cajuns have been cooking when they play Texas State, Danny Kaspar’s team hasn’t liked the taste of it one bit.
Ever since the Bobcats joined the Sun Belt in 2013, wins over Louisiana-Lafayette have been hard to come by.
As a matter of fact, a win has never happened.
There have been a pair of blowouts inside the Cajundome, a gut-wrenching 67-66 home loss to UL Lafayette back in 2014 during which the Bobcats committed two costly turnovers in the final 30 seconds and a season-ending 53-43 setback at last season’s Sun Belt Tournament where Texas State squandered an nine-point second-half advantage.
