There is a saying in baseball: When you misplay a ball in the field, the next one is coming straight at you.
Well, that aforementioned phrase about second chances is relevant in basketball, as well.
Two days after Texas State squandered a double-digit halftime lead in an eventual overtime loss to Little Rock, Danny Kaspar’s team had the opportunity to redeem itself on Saturday night against Arkansas State.
The Bobcats, who walked into the locker room with a 38-26 advantage, got the job done in the second half on this particular occasion as Kaspar’s team polished off an 78-68 victory over the Red Wolves in front of 2,857 fans inside Strahan Coliseum.
