TROY, Ala. — There is something about Saturday games that hasn't been kind to Texas State.
For the fourth consecutive Saturday, the Bobcats turned in a dismal offensive performance, and sustained a puzzling 66-57 loss to Troy inside the Trojan Arena.
Prior to its setback to the Trojans, who were mired in a six-game losing skid, Texas State had failed to crack the 60-point barrier against the likes of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (39 points, Dec. 5), Georgia State (46 points, Jan. 3) and Appalachian State (56 points, Jan. 10).
