Men’s Basketball Falls 65-53 to UT Arlington

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Kavin Gilder-Tilbury extended his double-digit scoring streak to 13 games in the Texas State men's basketball team's 65-53 loss to UT Arlington Tuesday night in front of a season-high 3,408 fans. Gilder-Tilbury scored a team-high 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting, grabbed four rebounds and blocked a season-high two shots.

The Bobcats drop to 9-12 overall and 3-9 in the Sun Belt Conference while the Mavericks are now 16-7 on the season and 7-5 in conference play.

In 11 minutes off the bench in the second half, D'Angelo West scored nine points with a 2-for-4 performance from beyond the arc and making all three of his free throw attempts.
