WACO, Texas – In the 2016 season opening meet, the Baylor Twilight Invitational, The Texas State men's cross country teams finished second. Both the men's and women's races were 4K in the length at the Heart of Texas Soccer Complex because of a 40-minute lightning delay.
"Our men ran very well as a team for this early in the season," said assistant coach Alex Muntefering. "Our race plan was to compete as a pack. Our 10.2-second spread from our first to the fifth runner, which was the best among all teams, was exactly what I was looking for.
