NEW ORLEANS – Texas State senior offensive tackle Ryan Melton and senior punter Lumi Kaba have been named All-Sun Belt Conference Second-Team selections in a poll of conference coaches and media members who regularly cover the league.
A native of Liberty, Texas, Melton returns to lead Texas State's offensive line after recording 58 pancake blocks and giving up just two sacks in 2015 when he was chosen an All-SBC Third-Team choice by Phil Steele. Melton, who enters the 2016 season having made 24 consecutive starts, also has been an All-SBC Honorable Mention selection by league coaches and selected media during each of the past two seasons.
