SAN MARCOS – Bobcat Volleyball has set the team's annual Meet the Cats for 5 p.m. Monday at Strahan Coliseum. Meet the Cats is an opportunity for Texas State fans to see the 2016 edition of the Bobcats on the court running drills, playing an intrasquad scrimmage and finishing the night with introductions to the team and chances for autographs.
This year, the Bobcats welcome eight newcomers, seven of which are freshmen. Setter Tori Luckenbill transfers in from Cameron where she was a setter. Micah Dinwiddie, Camila Vecchi, Konner Wood and Mattie Adams are four freshman defensive specialists while Megan Porter, Marissa Kindred and Sara Martin are three new hitters for the Bobcats.
