LIVE OAK, Texas – Senior Joseph Pena and redshirt sophomore Joseph Meade both finished in the top five of the men's 8K race at the UIW Invitational held at Live Oak City Park Saturday morning for the Texas State men's cross country. The men finished second overall and the women's team recorded a fourth place finish.
Meade paced the Bobcats with a second place finish in a career best time of 24:07. Crossing the finish line two spots behind him was Pena in 24:20, also a personal best.
Jose Angel Gonzalez added an eighth place finish as he crossed the line in a personal best time of 24:37.
