SAN MARCOS, Texas – threw a shutout while six different Bobcats drove in a run as Texas State opened the I-35 Tourney on Thursday with a 9-0 mercy-rule win over Lamar at Bobcat Softball Stadium.
McCann struck out seven and only allowed two hits over five innings to earn her first win of the season. The shutout of the Cardinals (0-7) was the first complete-game clean outing for McCann since her freshman season in 2020.
