SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Sun Belt Conference and College Sports Madness announced Monday morning that Texas State sophomore quarterback Brady McBride is the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week following his record-setting performance against Arkansas State.
McBride started at quarterback for the first time in three weeks and completed 32-of-45 passes for 443 yards and five touchdowns with zero interceptions to lead Texas State to a 47-45 victory over Arkansas State last Saturday.
His five touchdown passes tied a school record and tied him for fourth place on the Sun Belt Conference all-time single-game list.
